Rotatek is one of the largest printing machinery manufacturing companies in the world. It was founded in 1970, and since then it has led its market through a commitment to innovation and the improvement of its machinery. Despite having 40 years of experience, the company had no activity on social networks. Thus, the task of Jungle Communications was to create profiles on social networks and design a communication strategy that would energise Rotatek’s content and bring it closer to a larger audience.

It is a company with great international prestige, quality service, and enormous experience in its sector, so digitization had to be based on these three factors so that communication was as efficient as possible.

PLAN OF ACTION

When analysing the contents that could work better, we found that Rotatek had a lot to say and that its communication up until now was based on its visits to international fairs, which was a point to be strengthened, although by no means the only one. The functions of its machines, the work of its employees, the philosophy of the company, and the final product were other lines to explore since they would allow a better connection with the public.

In this sense, and given the complexity and specificity of its activity, Jungle Communications’ task was to make everything known about Rotatek more simply so that the general public could understand it and feel a connection to the brand. For this, it was very important to show who is behind the brand and what the final product was that was achieved with their machinery, explaining the production process on many occasions.

This line of communication allowed Rotatek to maintain its image of prestige and experience and also add closeness to the public that it had not had to date.

EVERLASTING RESULTS

The results of the content published on Rotatek’s social networks were very positive. In a short time, hundreds of followers were achieved on both Facebook and Instagram, with interaction rates that regularly exceeded 20%.

This project was proof that connecting with the public is possible, whatever the company’s activity.
